Meatballs in Cheese-caper Sauce

  • 500 g Minced meat
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tl Mustard
  • 1 Tl Tomato paste
  • 150 ml White wine
  • 250 ml Vegetable broth
  • 20 g Butter
  • 20 g Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Chili powder
  • Oil
  • Bread flour
  • 1 glass Capers
  • 200 g Processed cheese
  1. Peel the onion, dice it finely and work it with the minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs, mustard, tomato paste and spices to make a nice dough, form minceballs and fry them in a saucepan in oil and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan, stir in the flour, deglaze with the vegetable stock and the wine, stir in the processed cheese, season with salt, pepper, parika powder and chili powder, stir in capers and simmer for about 5 minutes, then add the meatballs to the sauce , let it get hot and serve with boiled potatoes
