Meatballs with Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 500 g Mixed minced meat
  • 1 Onion
  • 0,5 bunch Dill
  • Salt and pepper
  • 150 g Sour cream
  • 3 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 1 glass Cranberries as a jam
  • 1 glass Cranberries
  • 1 sprig Rosemary
  • 0,5 Onion
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 shot Balsamic vinegar old
  • 1 Butter

Instructions
 

  • Mix the minced meat with the finely diced onion, finely chopped dill, sour cream and breadcrumbs. Season well with salt and pepper.
  • Heat some oil in a pan and fry the meatballs until crispy on all sides.

Cranberry sauce:

  • Sauté the finely diced onion in a little butter. Sprinkle with the sugar and let it caramelize slightly.
  • Add the finely chopped rosemary.
  • Add the cranberries with some of the juice and let it boil. Add the cranberry jam, bring to the boil.
  • Let it simmer gently for about 10 minutes over a medium heat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Stir in the butter and season the sauce again.
  • Serve the meatballs with the cranberry compote. Boiled potatoes go well with it.
