Meatballs with Cranberry Sauce
The perfect meatballs with cranberry sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

- 500 g Mixed minced meat
- 1 Onion
- 0,5 bunch Dill
- Salt and pepper
- 150 g Sour cream
- 3 tbsp Breadcrumbs
- 1 glass Cranberries as a jam
- 1 glass Cranberries
- 1 sprig Rosemary
- 0,5 Onion
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- Salt and pepper
- 1 shot Balsamic vinegar old
- 1 Butter
- Mix the minced meat with the finely diced onion, finely chopped dill, sour cream and breadcrumbs. Season well with salt and pepper.
- Heat some oil in a pan and fry the meatballs until crispy on all sides.
Cranberry sauce:
- Sauté the finely diced onion in a little butter. Sprinkle with the sugar and let it caramelize slightly.
- Add the finely chopped rosemary.

Add the cranberries with some of the juice and let it boil. Add the cranberry jam, bring to the boil.
- Let it simmer gently for about 10 minutes over a medium heat. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Stir in the butter and season the sauce again.
- Serve the meatballs with the cranberry compote. Boiled potatoes go well with it.
