Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 can of mushrooms
- 1 bell pepper(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 cup of cream
- 75 ml broth
- 100 ml Metaxa
- 100 g cream cheese spread
- 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
- 2 pinches of salt and pepper

Clean the bell pepper, peel the onion, and garlic clove. Finely dice the bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, and garlic clove. Sauté the vegetables in oil, add the tomato paste, and braise with the vegetables. Deglaze with cream, broth, and Metaxa and bring the sauce to a boil. Dissolve the processed cheese in the sauce and bring back to a boil with the sugar. Season with salt and pepper.
