Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup millet
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 cup of cream
  • Fruits (dried fruits), as desired
  • Hazelnuts
  • Walnuts
  • Sunflower seeds

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

The ideal breakfast for cold winter days!

Rinse the millet, bring to a boil with the water and salt, and let it swell on low heat. Add 0.25–0.5 teaspoon of cinnamon, if desired, and stir in enough cream with a wooden spoon to create a smooth, fragrant porridge. Sweeten the porridge with honey. Finally, mix the fruit, nuts, and sunflower seeds into the millet porridge, according to taste. This millet porridge is perfect for a winter breakfast; it provides warmth and strength. Tip: Soak the dried fruit in a little water overnight.
