Minced meat sauce, with a twist

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 ml water
  • 3 packs of sauce for roast beef
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 small onions
  • 500 g minced beef
  • Spice mix for roasts
  • pepper
  • oil
  • 400 g pasta or
  • 800 g potatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Bring the water to a boil, stir in the sauce mix, add the bay leaves, and let it simmer for a while. Season the minced meat with the roast spice mix, season with pepper, and fry it with the diced onions – it’s okay if it gets a little crispy – then add it to the sauce and let it simmer for about half an hour. In the meantime, cook the potatoes or pasta as usual.
