Minced meat toast

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 handful of breadcrumbs
  • lots of pepper, black from the mill
  • lots of paprika powder
  • Salt
  • e.g. parsley
  • 6 slice(s) toast bread, regular, not sandwich size

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Dice the onions and then mix all the ingredients together thoroughly, except for the toast. You can, of course, add or omit other ingredients to the batter according to your taste. For example, I mixed in 2 tablespoons of mustard today. Spread the meat mixture onto the toast slices with a fork. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat) and bake the meat sandwiches on the middle rack for about 12-15 minutes. They taste best fresh from the oven. Tip: You can also top them with a slice of tomato and/or cheese before baking.
