Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 15 liters of red wine, sweet
- 3 liters of freshly squeezed orange juice
- 3 orange(s), sliced
- 1 ½ liters of water
- ½ liter rum
- 3 cans of prunes, 500 g each
- 12 cinnamon sticks
- ½ handful of cloves
- 1 kg brown sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 1 hour
for a big party or for the Christmas market, for about 60 cups
Combine all ingredients in a large pot and let it steep for 24 hours. Then heat to a maximum of 70 degrees Celsius and serve hot. This amount of ingredients makes about 60 cups of mulled wine.
