Mussels with Fresh Herbs
The perfect mussels with fresh herbs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 package Fresh mussels
- 2 Eßl Oil
- 2 Eßl Butter
- 1 toe Garlic fresh
- Fish herbs of your choice e.g.
- Rosemary fresh
- Fresh thyme
- Sage leaves
- Freshly chopped chives
- Finely chopped parsley
- Salt
- Wash the clams.
- Heat the oil and butter in a pan, add a pinch of salt and cut the garlic once.
- Add the rosemary, thyme and sage whole. Add chives in rolls.
- Put the mussels in the pan and cook over medium heat with the lid on for about 10-15 minutes. Turn 2-3 times so that the brew goes everywhere. Finally add the chopped parsley.
- When all the mussels have risen, they can be eaten.
- We ate white bread with a stick that you can dip very well in the brew. A glass of white wine rounded the whole thing off.
