Mustard-horseradish dressing

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 1 tsp horseradish or, if you prefer a milder flavor, creamed horseradish
  • ½ tsp vegetable stock powder
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • some Maggi
  • salt and pepper
  • 5 tbsp oil, neutral, e.g. sunflower oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Mix the mustard, horseradish, spices, and vinegar thoroughly. If you prefer a less thick dressing or want to tone it down a bit, you can add a little water. Then add the oil and mix until smooth. This amount of dressing is enough to dress 1/2 to 1 head of lettuce.
