Nectarine – Melon Jam with Bourbon Vanilla

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 600 g nectarine(s)
  • 400 g melon(s) (preferably honeydew melon)
  • 1 lemon(s), (the juice)
  • 3 packs of flavoring (finesse with bourbon vanilla)
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1
  • 3 tbsp rum (if you like)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

4 glasses of 285 ml each

Wash, stone, and chop the nectarines. Deseed and chop the honeydew melon. Puree the fruit pieces, add the bourbon vanilla flavoring, lemon juice, and gelling sugar, and mix well. Bring to a boil while stirring, then simmer over high heat for 4 minutes. Add the rum (if desired). Pour into the jars while still hot and seal immediately.
