Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp wheat flour
- 4 dl meat broth
- 2 dl milk
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Brun Saus
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Gradually add the flour and mix well until the mixture is thick and lump-free, then brown, stirring constantly. Remove the pan from the heat and gradually add the milk and stock, stirring well with a whisk. Return the pan to the heat and bring the sauce to a boil, stirring well again. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Brun Saus goes well with meat dishes, such as kjøttkaker (meat pie).
