Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 5 eggs
- ½ lemon(s), untreated, zest and juice
- 250 g nuts, ground
- 50 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- e.g. cake icing
Instructions

according to the old GDR recipe
Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Cream the lukewarm butter with the sugar until fluffy, then fold in the remaining ingredients. The mixture will appear very sticky, but this is normal. Finally, carefully fold in the egg whites and pour into a springform pan or loaf pan. Bake at medium heat (170°C) for about 60 minutes. After 60 minutes, test the cake with a skewer to see if it’s done. Let it cool completely. Finally, cover with icing.
