Oatmeal – Cheese – Waffles

Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 g oat flakes (melted flakes)
  • 100 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 bunch of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

For children ages 1 and up. Beat the fat with the cheese and eggs until creamy. Add only a very light amount of salt. Stir in the instant flakes, then add the milk. Toast the whole-grain oats in a pan, cut the chives into rounds. Fold both ingredients into the waffle batter. Bake one after the other in a non-stick waffle iron until golden yellow. The waffles won’t turn out as dark because there’s no browning sugar. Lightly oil the iron after each baking. Instead of cream, serve the waffles with herb quark, and on skewers, garnish with apple and tangerine slices, radishes, and cucumber slices.
