Oatmeal rolls with yeast

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 125 ml water
  • 3 tbsp oat flakes
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 2 tbsp oat milk (oat drink)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ pack of dry yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 2 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 47 minutes

Heat the water and mix it with the yeast, margarine, salt, and sugar in a bowl. Let it rest for about 2 minutes. Stir in the flour and oats and knead into a smooth dough. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Form the dough into evenly sized balls. Grease a muffin tin and place the balls in the muffin tin. Brush the dough surface with the oat milk. Place the tray on the middle rack of the oven for about 20 minutes. Then let it cool.
