Oatmeal Yogurt Bread

The perfect oatmeal yogurt bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 675 g Wheat flour
  • 225 g Oatmeal
  • 3 tsp Baking powder, coated
  • 1,5 tsp Baking soda
  • 30 g Sugar
  • 1,5 tsp Salt
  • 600 g Natural yoghurt
  • 2 Eggs
  1. Put the yoghurt in a bowl, add the 2 eggs and stir everything very well. Put the flour, oat flakes, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt in another large bowl and mix well.
  2. Now add the yoghurt to the flour mixture and knead everything very well to form a smooth dough. Now either form a loaf from it or – like me – form two small loaves and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  3. Now bake the bread in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 30 – 40 minutes on the middle rack and don’t forget to put a bowl of hot water in the oven – because of the surge.
