  • 180 ml mineral water, sparkling
  • 200 ml whole milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 250 g cooked ham, fine
  • 250 g Emmental cheese, cold cuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

easy, about 20 minutes work and 40 minutes baking and resting

Mix mineral water, milk, eggs, salt, sugar, and flour to form a runny dough. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes and then mix again. Pour the dough onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top and bottom heat) for about 25 minutes. Prick the dough if it rises too high. Then, using the baking paper, roll the dough up and then unroll it again. Top the dough with cheese and ham and roll it up again, piece by piece, using the baking paper, without including the baking paper. Then let the roll rest briefly in the residual heat in the oven for about 5 minutes. Cut the omelet roll into slices and garnish.
