Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g roast leftovers, approx. (e.g. beef, pork or lamb)
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4 tbsp flour
- 400 ml meat broth
- some cheese (Gouda), grated
- Salt
- pepper
- Worcestershire sauce
- 1 lemon(s), slices or quarters
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
made from leftover roasts (leftovers)
Peel the onions and garlic cloves and chop very finely. Cut the meat into roughly 1 cm pieces. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions and garlic. Add the meat and let it brown lightly. Sprinkle with flour and deglaze with the broth. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Divide the mixture among 4 ragù dishes and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Place the dishes in the oven and broil the cheese under the oven grill (if you have a microwave with a grill, you can also use the microwave grill). Serve with a lemon slice (or a quarter), a slice of white bread, or a roll. If you like, add a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce. Tip: Garlic or herb baguette also tastes delicious with it. You can also add sliced and halved mushrooms. They also taste very good.
