Onion-honey-juice for cough

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • Honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 5 minutes

Roughly chop the onion and place it in a bowl. Pour honey over the onion, cover, and let stand overnight. My little daughter (3 years old) can’t yet blow her nose into a tissue when she has a cold, so we regularly get a cough after a cold (because she always “wrinkles” her nose). So, if a cold is coming on, she can give her 3 teaspoons of the onion and honey juice each morning and evening, and then we can forget about the cough!
