Cough syrup, a great recipe from my healing grandmother, an experienced herbalist!

Peel and dice the onions, then place them in a large jar. Add the sage and thyme and pour over the honey. Let stand for 24 hours, shaking or stirring occasionally. Place a cloth (cloth diaper, tea towel, or similar) in a large bowl. Pour the contents of the jar onto it and squeeze firmly. Once the onion honey is completely in the bowl, it can be bottled. Initially, when the cough is still persistent, take 1 tablespoon every hour. Once the cough has cleared up, which happens relatively quickly, 1 tablespoon three times a day is sufficient. Note: We are always amazed at how well this juice helps, so I wanted to share this recipe with you!
