Onion salad with sumac

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions (vegetable onions)
  • 3 tbsp spice(s), sumac (Turkish spice)
  • 2 tbsp parsley, dried
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel the onions and slice them into thin rings using a cucumber slicer. Squeeze the rings firmly with your hand and rinse under running water. Drain and squeeze again. Place on a plate and drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with sumac and parsley. Toss lightly.
