Onion tart

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 125 ml milk
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 40 g margarine (Sanella)
  • 1 kg onion(s)
  • 1 handful of diced bacon (amount as desired)
  • 3 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • Vegetable broth, instant

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Make a yeast dough from flour, yeast, milk, salt, fat, and egg. Peel the onions and slice them into rings. You can also dice them if you like. Fry the bacon and onions in a pan and add them to a bowl. Mix the eggs, sour cream, and spices and stir them into the onion and bacon mixture. Roll out the dough in a greased dish and spread the filling on top. We don’t make a border, as we like it much better without one! Preheat oven to 190°C (fan oven). Baking time: approx. 45-50 minutes. TIP: The onion tart is also great to prepare the night before or in the morning. Pre-bake in the oven as above at 190°C for 30 minutes, then finish baking in the evening for 20 minutes.
