Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 5 oranges
- 6 sheets of white gelatin
- 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 200 g whipped cream
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp pistachios, chopped
- Cherry(s), candied
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 25 minutes
Peel two oranges so that the white pith is removed. Then slice them. Squeeze the remaining oranges. Measure 225 ml of juice. Soak the gelatin in it. Mix together the quark, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Whisk the cream and vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form. Heat the orange juice until the gelatin has melted. Stir into the quark cream. Chill until the cream begins to set. Fold in the cream. Pour the orange slices and cream into glasses. Chill for about 30 minutes. Chop the cherries. Garnish the quark with cherries and pistachios.
