Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 orange(s), unsprayed
  • Ice cream (vanilla flavor)
  • possibly cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the oranges, cut open the top, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon and knife (the peel will be refilled later). Cut the flesh into small pieces and mix with vanilla ice cream, if desired. Lightly cut the bottom of the orange peel so it stands upright, then add the filling. Depending on the season, add a dash of cinnamon if desired—this creates a wonderful winter dessert. Tip: If you’re in a hurry, peel the oranges normally and serve in dessert glasses.
