Oriental roasted almonds

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g almonds
  • 1 pinch(s) of Ras el Hanout
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 pinch(s) chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt, maybe more
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

vegan, simple summer snack with guaranteed wanderlust

Place baking paper on a baking sheet and preheat to 180°C. Mix all ingredients together well and place them on the baking paper, spreading them evenly. Then bake for seven minutes. You can use blanched or unblanched almonds for this recipe. I prefer them to cool for 10 minutes, as almonds can sometimes still taste a bit floury when they’re hot.
