  • 1 liter of milk

Grease a glass dish, slice the rolls, and place the first layer on the bottom of the dish. Slowly bring the milk, vanilla sugar, and sugar to a boil. Add the eggs and stir in the custard powder over low heat, then simmer for about 5 minutes. Pour some of the sauce over the rolls in the dish and let stand for 10 minutes. Then add the remaining rolls to the dish and place the sliced ​​rolls on top. Pour the remaining sauce over the rolls and let stand for another 5 minutes. Brush a little butter over the ends of the rolls and bake in the oven at 175°C for 20 minutes.
