Overnight Oats Banana-Chocolate

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g oat flakes, fine or coarse, depending on your preference
  • 150 ml almond milk (almond drink)
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 10 minutes

lactose-free, vegan

Place the oats in a bowl or, for transport, a sealable container. Pour the almond milk over them, making sure it mostly covers the oats. Add a little more if needed until it reaches the desired consistency. Peel the banana, mash it with a fork, and add it to the oats. Sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons of cocoa powder over them and stir everything well until a nice brown mixture forms. If you like, you can sweeten your overnight oats with 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup, etc. Depending on their ripeness, the banana will naturally already have a sweet taste. Then stir everything thoroughly and refrigerate overnight. Overnight oats with fine oats can be eaten after just a few minutes, as the fine flakes quickly absorb the milk. The longer you let them stand, the more mushy the consistency will become. For coarse oats, soaking overnight is recommended.
