- n. B. cornstarch for binding
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Wash the bell peppers, remove the stems and seeds, and dice finely. Dice the onion. Cut the schnitzel into strips about the thickness of your little finger. Brown the schnitzel in a pan, then add the onions. Finally, stir in the diced bell peppers and fry briefly to keep them crispy. Stir in the tomato paste and deglaze with the cream and a little water, if desired. Add the processed cheese and let it melt. Season to taste with stock (salt), pepper, and oregano. If necessary, thin with water or thicken slightly with cornstarch. We serve this with fries, croquettes, or pasta.
