Ingredients for 7 servings:
- 100 g butter, soft or margarine
- 4 egg yolks
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 250 ml milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 8 tbsp Parmesan
- 4 egg whites
- oregano
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cream the butter or margarine until fluffy, add the egg yolks and salt. Sift the flour with the baking powder and mix well. Stir alternately with the milk into the butter mixture. Then fold the Parmesan and oregano into the batter. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter. Heat the waffle iron, grease if necessary, and bake until golden-brown. Serve with herb quark or fresh salad.
