Pasta and minced meat casserole with peas

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g pasta
  • Salt
  • 200 g peas, frozen
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • pepper
  • 375 ml milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 1 bunch of parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, drain, rinse, and let drain. Peel and dice the onions, then sauté in oil until translucent. Add the meat and fry until crumbly. Stir in the tomato paste and season with salt and pepper. Mix the milk with the eggs and cheese. Chop the parsley and stir it into the egg mixture. Layer the pasta, mince, and peas in a baking dish and pour the egg mixture over the pasta. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
