Pasta casserole with ham

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta, thick
  • salt water
  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 1 bag of grated cheese (approx. 200 g)
  • 3 dl milk
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Paprika powder
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente and drain. Cut the ham into thin strips. Layer the pasta, grated cheese, and ham in a greased gratin dish. Heat the butter in a pan. Sauté the flour, add the milk, and bring to a boil until the sauce thickens. Pour the sauce over the casserole. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat) and bake the casserole in the center of the oven for about 25 minutes.
