Pasta with leek and sausage

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g leek
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 300 g bratwurst, coarse
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 300 g pasta (capellini)
  • 60 g cheese (Grana Padano), freshly grated
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Easy to make – hearty

Trim the leek and slice it lengthwise. Wash thoroughly and cut into thin strips. Heat the oil and fry the leek over low heat for about 5 minutes. Cut the sausage into small pieces and add it to the leek, stirring constantly for 3 minutes. Mix the crème fraîche and cream together. Add and cook for 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain, let it drain briefly, and toss with the sauce. Serve the grated cheese separately. A tangy white wine goes well with this dish.
