Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 350 g peach(s), pitted
  • 750 ml water
  • 10 g citric acid
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g gelling sugar, 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Bring the peaches to a boil with the water and citric acid. Remove from the heat, let stand for about 2 minutes, and then puree. Then strain the juice through a sieve, add the gelling sugar and sugar, and bring to a boil while stirring. Boil gently for about 1 minute. Immediately pour the boiling juice into bottles and seal tightly. This recipe also works well with other types of fruit, such as apricots or raspberries.
