Pear and chicken toast

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 bulb(s)
  • 6 slices of toast
  • 3 chicken breasts (fillet)
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 tbsp curry or curry paste
  • 200 g cheese, Gouda (or Emmental)
  • 3 tbsp cranberries
  • lemon juice
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and core the pears, cut into wedges, and drizzle with lemon juice. Season the fillets with salt and pepper, season with curry powder, and fry in the fat until crispy. They should still be juicy on the inside! Then slice the meat crosswise and toast the bread. Layer the meat wedges and pear slices on the toast, sprinkle with cheese, and bake in the oven until the cheese begins to melt (you can also brown it a bit, if you like). Remove the toast, garnish with cranberries, and serve.
