Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg pear(s) (Williams)
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), scraped pulp
  • 70 g water
  • 200 g cocoa powder, unsweetened

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel, core, and finely chop the pears. Place them in a saucepan with the water and simmer until the pears are soft, about 30 minutes. Purée with a hand blender. Add the sugar and vanilla and bring back to a boil. Add the cocoa and mix well. Pour into glasses while still hot.
