Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg pear(s), ripe, pitted, peeled, crushed
  • 400 ml vodka (50%)
  • 200 ml schnapps (brandy)
  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • 1 tsp orange peel
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 cup(s) water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Make a syrup from sugar and water. Let it cool. Empty the pears, orange, and lemon zest (without the white part!) into a large bottle, pour over the syrup, brandy, and vodka. Seal tightly and let stand in a warm, dark place for 2 weeks. Pour through a sieve, return to the bottle, and let it steep for another 2 weeks. Filter through cheesecloth and a coffee filter, pour into a decorative bottle, and let it mature in a dark place for a few more weeks before enjoying. Recipe for 1 liter of liqueur
