- Meanwhile, cut the dill stalks into pieces about 10cm long. Then peel and halve a few cloves of garlic. Then peel a few horseradish roots, which you then cut into slices about 0.5 cm thick.
- After soaking the cucumber in water long enough, cut off the tops and prick the cucumber about 2-3 times with a knife.
- Place the dill, garlic, and horseradish mixture in the bottom of a mason jar and place the cucumbers on top. Finish the contents on top again with a layer of the mixture.
- Next, boil some water and then let it cool down. Then pour the water over the contents of the mason jar until well covered and add a handful of salt.
- After that, seal the jar and store it in a cool, dark place.
