Pickled Mozzarella on Bed of Colored Tomatoes
The perfect pickled mozzarella on bed of colored tomatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Tomato bed
- 1 tsp Wild flowers
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Garlic oil from my KB
- Sea-Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- 1 tsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1 tsp Wild garlic leaves
- 0,5 tsp Lemon zest
- 500 g Colorful cherry tomatoes
- 200 ml Balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp Honey
- Sea-Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- Balsamic vinegar crema
- Mix olive oil, garlic oil, honey, lemon juice and zest, as well as oregano, wild flowers, wild garlic, salt and pepper evenly.
- Remove the mozzarella from the brine and marinate in it overnight.
- Halve the tomatoes, marinate with the other ingredients and season to taste.
- Spread the tomatoes on a plate, drizzle with the balsamic vinegar and place the mozzarella on top – spread the rest of the marinade over it.
- Refine with a little balsamic cream and enjoy with fresh warm bread.
