Pineapple chili jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg pineapple, already prepared pulp
  • 1 kg gelling sugar (1:1)
  • 1 chili pepper(s), possibly 3

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and puree the pineapple. Deseed the chili peppers (it’s best to wear gloves when doing this) and slice them into fine rings. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan, bring to a boil, and simmer over high heat for 3 minutes while stirring. While still hot, pour into jars and seal immediately.
