Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pineapple, fresh
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • Water
  • Cinnamon
  • Ginger
  • 2 cloves
  • n. B. Sauce thickener

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the pineapple and remove the core; this is best done with a pineapple cutter. Then dice the pineapple slices and place them in a small saucepan. Add the sugar and deglaze with water. Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent it from burning. Finally, thicken the sauce with a sauce thickener, and you’re done.
