Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 slice(s) pineapple, fresh or canned
- 2 eggs (weight of whole eggs = amount for the other ingredients)
- Butter, as much as 2 eggs weigh
- Sugar, as much as 2 eggs weigh
- 1 vanilla sugar (bourbon)
- Flour, as much as 2 eggs weigh
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Dessert or quick treat for coffee
Place the pineapple slices side by side in a shallow baking dish. For the batter, beat the eggs, butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy, then stir in the flour. Spread the mixture over the fruit and bake in a preheated oven at approximately 200-225°C for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla sauce.
