Plaice in Wild Garlic – Cream – Sauce

The perfect plaice in wild garlic – cream – sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Plaice fillets naturally frozen
  • 250 ml Riesling
  • 1 Red onion
  • 3 tbsp Cream
  • 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • Wild garlic fresh
  • Steak pepper
  • Salt
  1. Peel and chop the onion.
  2. Roughly chop the wild garlic leaves and finely cut the stalks.
  3. First fry the onion in a little oil, let it take on color.
  4. Deglaze with white wine, reduce by half, then add cream and wild garlic stalks, turn the heat down.
  5. Season well with steak pepper.
  6. Put the fish in and simmer gently.
  7. Add the wild garlic leaves, let it steep and season with salt.
