Plum and cinnamon jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 900 g plum(s), pitted, weighed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1,000 g gelling sugar 1:1 or 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • 1 large lemon(s), juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Wash, stone, and weigh the plums, then cut them into small pieces and place them in a saucepan. Squeeze the lemon and pour the juice over the plums. Heat gently for about 5 minutes to prevent burning. When the plums are soft enough, puree with a hand blender. Stir in the gelling sugar and cinnamon. Bring everything to a boil and simmer for 4 minutes. Immediately pour into boiled jam jars and seal the jars. Tip: The jam tastes great not only on bread but also stirred into natural yogurt.
