Plum ice cream with natural yogurt

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g plum(s) or damsons, cooked
  • 2 tbsp, levelled sugar
  • 1 dashes lemon juice, to taste
  • 300 ml natural yogurt
  • 80 ml whole milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon, vanilla pulp or vanilla sugar
  • 20 mint leaves, 5 leaves per person

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

without cream

Pit and halve the plums, then weigh them until you have 300g. Sprinkle with a tablespoon of sugar. Mix the natural yogurt with the remaining sugar, the milk, and preferably the vanilla pulp, or use vanilla sugar or simply the cinnamon. Refrigerate while we continue working. Puree the plums and, if desired, drizzle with lemon juice. Mix the puree with the yogurt and then pour into the ice cream maker. Tip: You can vary the fruit as desired; gooseberries or currants, for example, also taste very good.
