Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 kg plum(s)
  • 500 g sugar
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 30 minutes

Wash and pit the plums, mix them with the sugar and cinnamon stick in a bowl, and let them steep for 24 hours. Place them in the oven roasting pan and slowly thicken at 150°C. Leave the oven door slightly ajar to allow steam to escape. Stir occasionally. Remove the cinnamon stick and pour it into the containers while still hot. Seal the lids immediately.
