Plum jam with red wine and cinnamon

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg plums
  • 750 g gelling sugar (2:1)
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar
  • 200 ml red wine, dry
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Wash the plums, pit them, and cut them into small pieces (do not puree them!). Place them in a large saucepan with the vanilla sugar, drizzle in the preserving sugar, and bring to a boil while stirring. Continue to cook for 3-4 minutes while stirring. Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the cinnamon and red wine, and immediately ladle the jam into jars while still hot and seal them tightly.
