Polentashmarrn with Garlic Dip

The perfect polentashmarrn with garlic dip recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dip:

  • 1 Egg yolk
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Clarified butter
  • 100 g Sour cream
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Mint fresh
  • Grated lemon peel
  1. Mix the polenta with the egg yolk and salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the butter lard in a pan, flatten the polenta in the pan and let it fry a little, when it is nice and brown, turn it and fry the 2nd side, then cut it into pieces and fry a little more.

For the dip:

  1. Press the garlic clove, finely chop the mint, mix both with the sour cream and season with salt, pepper and lemon zest.
  2. Serve the Schmarrn with the dip
