Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 560 g corn (popcorn)
  • 12 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • some salt, fine or powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Heat the sunflower oil in a deep saucepan. Reduce the heat, then add the corn to the pan and quickly put the lid on. At the right temperature, the corn will audibly pop into popcorn. Slowly remove the pan from the heat and shake it back and forth to ensure all the kernels receive sufficient heat and pop. Leave the lid on the pan until you can no longer hear the popcorn. Remove the popcorn and sprinkle it with salt or powdered sugar while it’s still hot.
