Poppy seed and cherry bundt cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 350 g flour, smooth
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 180 g butter, melted, cooled
  • 125 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds, ground
  • 1 apple, peeled, grated
  • 370 g cherry(s), fresh or canned fruit
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add the next five ingredients (sugar to milk) one at a time and mix well. Divide the batter and pour one half into a greased and floured pan. Mix the other half with the poppy seeds and grated apple and pour into the pan in the same way. Distribute the cherries over the batter. Place the pan in the lower half of the preheated oven. Bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes. Sprinkle the warm cake with powdered sugar and let cool.
