Poppy seed marzipan pudding

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 ml milk
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • 3 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 30 g poppy seeds, unground
  • 100 g marzipan – raw mass

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Cut the marzipan into small cubes. Pour the milk and cream into a saucepan, immediately stir in the pudding mix and sugar, then add the marzipan cubes and poppy seeds and bring to a boil, stirring constantly (the marzipan will dissolve). Ladle the hot pudding into small bowls or similar containers and let it cool.
