  • Cinnamon, to taste

  • 1 bag of pudding powder (for cooking, for 1/2 l milk)
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Thaw the vanilla ice cream until it becomes creamy. Rinse the package. Add cinnamon to taste to the soft ice cream. Mix well. Return everything to the package, seal, and refreeze (about 5 hours). Just before serving: Drain the cherries, reserving the juice. Mix 3 tablespoons of the juice with the pudding mix and sugar. Bring the juice to a boil and stir in the pudding mix. Cook for about 2 minutes, until you notice the mixture becoming slightly thicker. Then add the cherries and heat through. Serve with the ice cream. Garnish with mint, cocoa powder, or powdered sugar, if desired.
